Original World War II German Wehrmacht 1 Reichsmark Verrechnungsschein (clearing/payment certificate), issued on September 15, 1944 by the Hauptverwaltung der Reichskreditkassen (Main Administration of the Reich Credit Banks).

These notes were a specialized form of military occupation currency used by the German armed forces rather than standard civilian Reichsbank currency. They were issued to Wehrmacht personnel for use in occupied territories and military payment systems, helping regulate troop spending while limiting the circulation of regular German currency. The text on the front specifically notes that the note was intended for Wehrmacht travel and payments, with redemption restricted according to military regulations.

The front features the Reichskreditkassen seal, denomination of Eine Reichsmark (1 Reichsmark), and the issue date of 15 September 1944, while the reverse contains the full regulations governing its authorized use and exchange.

This example remains in excellent original condition, retaining strong green ink, crisp paper, and only a light center fold from handling. There are no major tears, repairs, or significant staining, making it an attractive collector-grade example.

A desirable piece for collectors of:

  • WWII German militaria
  • Military occupation currency
  • WWII paper money
  • Reichskreditkassen notes
  • Historical financial and military artifacts

This is an original historical artifact from the Second World War and is offered strictly for its collectible and historical significance.
