WWII German Wehrmacht RBNr. Marked Canvas Clothing & Equipment Bag-Missing Shoulder Straps-Late War Era-1943-1945

Offered is an authentic World War II German Wehrmacht canvas clothing and equipment bag (Bekleidungssack) manufactured during the late stages of the war. This original example is constructed from heavy olive-green canvas with blackened leather reinforcements and retains its original RBNr. (Reichsbetriebsnummer) manufacturer code stamped into the leather handle reinforcement, a marking system adopted by Germany during the latter part of the war in place of traditional maker names. 

The bag features a large drawstring main compartment protected by an oversized protective flap, two spacious exterior utility pockets, leather closure straps, and a leather-reinforced carrying handle. Unlike standard combat rucksacks, this pattern was intended as a clothing and equipment transport bag rather than a permanent backpack, making it a distinctive and increasingly desirable piece of original German field gear. 

The leather is marked:

RBNr. 0/0576/0013 (best interpretation of the visible stamping)

This confirms wartime German military production and is consistent with equipment manufactured during approximately 1943–1945. The bag remains in completely untouched condition, showing honest wartime service with period wear, scattered repairs, fraying, stains, and small holes throughout. The leather components retain an attractive aged patina, and the original construction remains intact, making this an excellent display piece for collectors of German WWII militaria.

Whether displayed with a mannequin, incorporated into a late-war Wehrmacht field gear collection, or preserved as a standalone artifact, this is an authentic and increasingly difficult-to-find original example.
