WWII IFF Mode Control Box – Aircraft Identification Friend or Foe (IFF) Control Unit

Original World War II aircraft IFF (Identification Friend or Foe) control box featuring dual rotary selectors for Mode 1 and Mode 3 settings. This cockpit-mounted unit was used by Allied aircraft to select identification codes for airborne IFF transponder systems, allowing friendly radar stations to identify aircraft during combat operations. Finished in its distinctive yellow housing with black control panel, the unit displays well and retains its original knobs, markings, and connector. An excellent and increasingly scarce piece of WWII aviation electronics for collectors of aircraft instrumentation, radar, Signal Corps, and U.S. military communications equipment. Untested and offered as a historical collectible.
