Original WWII-era T-85/APT-5 transmitter unit, a component of the APT-5 electronic warfare and radar countermeasure system. Features original data plate, tuning controls, modulation indicator, antenna loading controls, meter windows, and military connectors. Retains desirable “Danger High Voltage” side marking and original black wrinkle finish. The APT-series equipment was developed for airborne radar deception, jamming, and electronic warfare applications during the latter stages of World War II. A scarce and historically significant component from the birth of electronic warfare.
