Original WWII-era J-25/APX-2 adapter junction box and cable assembly for the AN/APX-2 airborne Identification Friend or Foe radar system. The original Hazeltine instruction tag identifies this unit as an adapter for connecting installed AN/APX-2 control units and cabling to 24-volt ABK, SCR-595 and SCR-695 equipment. The AN/APX-2 was a Mark III airborne interrogator-responder-transponder system introduced during WWII and installed in multiple U.S. military aircraft.

Includes the junction box, heavy aircraft wiring, multi-pin connector and three attached plug assemblies. The original data plate, stenciled markings and paper instruction tag remain present. Displays expected storage wear, dust and age. Untested and sold as an original collectible electronic component rather than functioning equipment. A scarce and unusually complete piece for a WWII aviation, radar or military-radio collection.
