Original WWII-era U.S. military Dynmotor manufactured by Black & Decker Electric Company, Kent, Ohio. Dynmotors were essential components used in military aircraft and radio systems, converting low-voltage aircraft power into the higher voltages required by radio transmitters and receivers.

The identification plate is marked:

Black & Decker Electric Co.
Kent, Ohio, U.S.A.
Dynmotor (Eicor Design)

Specifications include:

  • Input: 28 Volts
  • Output: 260 Volts
  • Output: .070 Amps
  • 5600 RPM
  • Continuous Duty

These units were commonly found in WWII aircraft radio installations and military communications equipment where reliable power conversion was critical to operation. Collectors of military radio equipment, airborne communications gear, and WWII electronics actively seek original dynmotors because they are clearly identifiable components used in operational systems.

The unit retains its original mounting bracket and data plate. Condition shows expected age and storage wear with scattered paint loss, minor oxidation, and handling marks while maintaining excellent display appeal.

An excellent piece of WWII military communications history and a desirable addition to any aircraft radio, radar, or military electronics collection.
