WWII U.S. Army Air Forces IE-12-A & IE-12-T2 Test Equipment Manual – Technical Order 08-10-108 (1942)
Original World War II U.S. Army Air Forces technical manual titled “Handbook of Instructions – Operation and Maintenance for Test Equipment IE-12-A and IE-12-T2,” Technical Order No. 08-10-108, dated November 12, 1942.
This early-war manual provides operation and maintenance instructions for the IE-12-A and IE-12-T2 test equipment, used in the servicing and testing of Army Air Forces communications and electronic equipment. Published under the joint authority of the Commanding General, Army Air Forces and the Chief Signal Officer, the manual was issued through Headquarters, Air Service Command, Patterson Field, Fairfield, Ohio.
The manual is housed in a protective blue report binder with handwritten identification on the front label, making it well suited for display and preservation. These early Army Air Forces electronics manuals are increasingly sought after by collectors of WWII aviation, Signal Corps, radar, and military communications equipment.
