WWII U.S. Army Rectifier Power Unit PP-35/ART Aircraft Radar Power Supply – Radiart Corp.

Description:

Original WWII-era PP-35/ART Rectifier Power Unit manufactured by The Radiart Corporation of Cleveland under military contract 967-DAY-44. This heavy-duty aircraft electronics power supply converted 115-volt AC aircraft power to 24-volt DC for operation of airborne radio, radar, and communications equipment.

The unit retains its original identification plate, military black finish, warning markings, indicator lamp, power switch assembly, and original military-spec AN connectors. Marked “Danger High Voltage,” reflecting its role as a power conversion component within wartime aviation electronics systems. These ART-series power units were commonly associated with airborne communications and radar installations used by Army Air Forces aircraft during World War II.

A desirable display and restoration piece for collectors of military electronics, Signal Corps equipment, airborne radar systems, and WWII aviation technology.

Condition shows storage wear, scratches, and minor finish loss consistent with age. Untested and sold as a historic military electronics collectible.
