Original WWII-era U.S. Army Signal Corps BC-1045-B (Beacon) Synchronizer manufactured by Western Electric, New York. This specialized radar and beacon navigation component was used in conjunction with airborne and ground-based radar systems to synchronize beacon signals and radar returns for navigation, identification, and target location functions.
The unit retains its original Signal Corps identification plate, black wrinkle finish, control knobs, range selection controls, sweep adjustment controls, and military connectors. Markings include “Radar,” “Beacon,” “Range in Miles,” and sweep control settings, reflecting its role within advanced wartime radar and electronic navigation systems.
A scarce and highly displayable piece of WWII radar history from one of America’s premier military electronics manufacturers. Ideal for collectors of Signal Corps equipment, radar systems, aviation electronics, and military communications technology.
