Original WWII U.S. Army Signal Corps Relay Box BC-616 manufactured by Bell Sound Systems, Inc., Columbus, Ohio, under Order No. 2563-WF-42. This relay box interfaces between the BC-456-A Modulator Unit and BC-451-A Radio Control Box, serving as part of the SCR-series airborne communications system used aboard U.S. Army Air Forces aircraft during World War II. The unit retains its original data plate, dual military multi-pin connectors, and clean aluminum finish, and is accompanied by its original period shipping carton. A scarce early-war Signal Corps component that is highly desirable for advanced WWII aviation radio collections, restorations, or museum display.
