Original WWII Signal Corps Radio Receiver and Transmitter BC-788-AM aircraft electronics unit. Data plate shows BC-788-AM, 80/115V, 380–2600 CPS, with markings for transmitter antenna, receiver antenna, to indicator, power supply, active/spare fuse, and high-voltage warning plate.

This is not a common tabletop radio piece — it appears to be part of an aircraft radio/radar altimeter system, where the transmitter and receiver worked with separate antennas and an indicator unit to measure altitude above terrain. Great crossover piece for WWII aviation, Signal Corps, radar, aircraft instrument, and early airborne electronics collectors.
