Original R-9A/APN-4 receiver made by Emerson Radio & Phonograph Corp. for the U.S. Army Signal Corps under a 1944 contract. This was the receiver portion of an airborne LORAN navigation system; the separate indicator is not included. The unit retains its identification plate and appears well preserved, with storage wear to the box. Untested and sold as pictured.
