Original WWII U.S. Army Signal Corps Receiver-Indicator R-65/APN-9, manufactured by Radio Corporation of America, Camden, New Jersey. Data plate shows Order No. 926-DAY-44 and rating of 80/115 volts, 360–2640 cycles, placing it firmly in the wartime aviation/radar electronics era.
Great visual display piece with the top viewing/scope window, original black wrinkle finish, handles, power supply cap, R.F. channel control, receiver gain, amplitude balance, coarse/fine delay controls, station selector, drift control, fuse holder, and original military repair/rework tag still attached.
Condition: Good original surplus condition with scuffs, scratches, paint wear, oxidation on handles/hardware, and age/storage wear. Some small knob/socket positions appear open or missing. Untested and sold as collectible/display/restoration equipment.
