Original WWII U.S. Navy AN/APS-3 radar antenna assembly, complete with reflector dish, drive components, and wiring harness. This is a hard-to-find airborne radar component used in early U.S. Navy aircraft radar systems.

  • Marked AN/APS-3 antenna
  • Original inspection tag dated 8/22/1944
  • Large parabolic reflector dish with original finish
  • Retains motor drive assembly and linkage components
  • Original warning stencil:
“Do not move reflector by hand…”
  • Includes original wiring lead and connector
  • WWII U.S. Navy radar equipment

The APS-3 radar system was one of the earlier U.S. airborne radar sets used for surface search and navigation, making components like this highly desirable—especially when intact and dated.

Condition:

Very good original condition for a large radar component. Shows expected age, wear, and light oxidation. Original paint and markings remain visible. Untested, sold as display/collector piece.

Collector Notes:

Complete radar antenna assemblies like this are rare to find intact, especially with a clear WWII inspection date. Excellent candidate for museum display, aviation collections, or high-end military decor.
