Original WWII-era U.S. Navy ASB-5 Rectifier Power Unit designated CQW-20 ABV. This power supply component was part of the ASB-5 airborne radar system used aboard U.S. Navy patrol, bomber, and anti-submarine aircraft during World War II. The ASB radar family was employed for navigation, surface search, bombing assistance, and maritime patrol missions.

The unit retains its original identification plate marked “ASB-5 Rectifier Power Unit CQW-20 ABV” along with its original military connectors for receiver, transmitter, indicator, antenna switch unit, and control unit connections. Finished in the original black wrinkle military coating and mounted on shock-absorbing feet, this unit is an excellent example of wartime naval radar technology.

A desirable collector piece for WWII radar enthusiasts, military communications collectors, naval aviation historians, and museum displays. Increasingly difficult to find ASB-series radar components with intact identification plates.

Condition is very good overall with light storage wear, minor finish loss, and age-related marks. Untested and sold as a historic military electronics collectible.
