WWII U.S. Navy Bendix CRR-74028 Heterodyne Frequency Meter

Original WWII-era U.S. Navy radio test instrument marked Type CRR-74028 Heterodyne Frequency Meter, housed in its original Type CRR-10111 Carrying Case. The top data plate is marked Navy Department – Bureau of Ships and references Bendix Radio Division / Bendix Aviation Corp.

This unit retains its original black metal field case, carry handle, latch, front controls, tuning dial, frequency band switch, modulation switch, power/plate switches, phones jack, RF coupling controls, and the original calibration chart/booklet mounted inside the lid. The front panel displays very well with strong white markings and a clean WWII military electronics look.

Condition is used surplus with paint loss, surface rust, storage wear, scratches, and age patina to the case. Interior controls appear largely intact. Untested and sold as-is for display, restoration, parts, or collection. Excellent piece for a WWII Navy radio, radar, aviation electronics, or military communications display.
