Original WWII U.S. Navy C-301/ARA-8A aircraft radio control unit marked DG-65 and CBEU. This rugged control box was used as part of the ARA-8A aircraft radio and navigation equipment installed in U.S. Navy aircraft during the latter years of World War II. Finished in its original black wrinkle paint with intact data plate and mounting base, this compact control unit is an excellent example of wartime naval avionics. A desirable component for collectors of WWII aircraft electronics, Navy aviation equipment, or restoration projects. Displays well and remains in original untested surplus condition with expected storage wear.
