WWII U.S. Navy GE ABA-1 Radio Transmitting / Receiving Equipment

Original WWII-era U.S. Navy Model ABA-1 Radio Transmitting / Receiving Equipment, manufactured by General Electric Company. The side data plate is marked Model ABA-1 Radio Transmitting-Receiving Equip’t, Navy Department, with supply listed as 14/28 volts DC.

This is a substantial black military radio/electronics unit with multiple large front connectors, rear PJ/MJ jacks, original Navy acceptance plate, latching hardware, vented side panels, and internal tube chassis. Interior appears largely complete with vacuum tubes, coils, wiring, and original components still present. The unit has a very strong WWII aviation/naval electronics display look and would fit well in a radar, radio, aircraft, or Navy communications collection.

Condition shows normal military surplus wear including dust, scuffs, paint wear, oxidation, and storage marks. Interior is exposed in photos and appears intact, but the unit is untested and sold as-is for display, restoration, parts, or collecting.
