Original U.S. Navy Bureau of Ships impedance adapter, Type CDE-30598A, manufactured by Air-Track Manufacturing Corporation of College Park, Maryland. This unit was part of the Navy’s Model ZA aircraft instrument-landing radio equipment, which incorporated localizer and glide-path receivers to assist pilots during landing approaches.

The adapter matched the audio output of the ZA equipment to an aircraft intercommunication system or telephone headset. It retains its original identification plate, mounting base, IN and OUT connectors, telephone jacks and black wrinkle finish. Displays scratches, finish wear and oxidation consistent with its age. Untested and sold as an original collectible aircraft-radio component.
