WWII U.S. Navy NAVSHIPS 900-825 Model TS-275/UP Echo Box Radar Test Equipment Instruction Book (Restricted) – 1945
Original World War II U.S. Navy Bureau of Ships instruction manual for the Model TS-275/UP Echo Box Radar Test Equipment, designated NAVSHIPS 900-825. This Restricted publication was produced under Navy Department Contract N5sr-5934 by the Johnson Service Company, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and was approved 14 November 1945.
The TS-275/UP Echo Box was used to test, calibrate, and troubleshoot naval radar systems, making this manual an important reference for WWII-era radar maintenance and electronic warfare equipment. Manuals covering specialized radar test equipment are considerably less common than standard operator manuals and are sought after by collectors of military electronics and naval technical publications.
The manual retains its original maroon flexible cover with silver lettering. It displays normal age and storage wear but remains a solid collectible example.
