Original WWII-era U.S. Navy Pilots’ Control Box for Type RL-24C Interphone Equipment, manufactured for the U.S. Navy Bureau of Aeronautics. The blue data plate is intact and marked Pilots’ Control Box for Type RL-24C Interphone Equipment, with serial number 860.
This aircraft interphone control unit features separate controls for 1st Pilot and 2nd Pilot, including volume knobs, mic/phone selection charts, ICS positions, intra-squadron receiver settings, receiver selector switch, radioman recall button, pull selector, and multiple rear military plug connectors marked J201, J202, and J208.
A very displayable WWII naval aviation communications piece, ideal for aircraft radio collectors, cockpit restoration parts, Navy Bureau of Aeronautics displays, or WWII electronics collections.
