Excellent WWII U.S. Navy radar/electronics unit marked RT-98/APG-17, 27 Volts DC, part of the AN/APG-17 system. Original crate is marked “Contains One Receiver & Transmitter, Navy Type RT-98/APG-17, Admiral Part No. G-2100, Part of AN/APG-17” with Admiral Corporation, Chicago, Illinois contract markings. The preservation label appears dated Aug. 13, 1945.

Panel has clearly labeled transmitter antenna, receiver antenna, inter-connector, and audio output ports, plus warning plate and carry handles. Great WWII aircraft/naval radar display or restoration piece, especially with the original marked shipping crate.

Condition: Very good stored military surplus condition. Unit appears clean and complete externally with original black textured finish, data plate, connectors, handles, and warning label. Crate has storage wear, tape, staining, and age wear. Untested and sold as collectible/display/restoration equipment.
