Original WWII U.S. Navy Type CG-23ABJ Remote Control Unit, a unit of Model ABA-1 Aircraft Radio Equipment. Manufactured for the Navy Department – Bureau of Ships by General Electric Company, Bridgeport, Connecticut. Contract dated Feb. 22, 1941.

Front panel features indicator lenses marked Power On, Warning, and Trans. On, with toggle switches for Power, Receiver, and Transmitter functions. Retains original data plate, connectors, mounting brackets, and black wrinkle-finish case. Comes with its original/period cardboard storage box as shown.

Nice WWII naval aviation radio control component, ideal for aircraft radio, Navy electronics, or military communications collectors. Untested and sold as collectible display/equipment piece.
