WWII U.S. Navy Western Electric RU-17 Aircraft Radio Dual Coil Set CW-47202 With Case

Original Western Electric Type CW-47202 dual coil set, serial number 651, manufactured under a January 24, 1942 Navy Department–Bureau of Ships contract for use with the Model RU-17 aircraft radio receiver. The fitted tray contains five removable plug-in coil modules and retains its original high/low frequency adjustment. Included is a related Western Electric CW-47029 coil-set container dated April 21, 1941 and marked for the earlier RU-16 aircraft radio. The case shows light finish wear, while the coil set appears exceptionally complete and well preserved. Untested and sold as a collectible WWII naval-aviation radio component.
