Add a piece of naval history to your collection with these authentic US Navy BuShips Mark XXIX Mod 0 6x30 binoculars, made by Bausch & Lomb in 1942. Used during World War II, these binoculars were issued by the US Navy’s Bureau of Ships and likely served in the Pacific or Atlantic theaters. The 6x30 design is compact and lightweight, ideal for officers on smaller vessels or submarines for spotting ships, aircraft, or signal flags.

These binoculars show their age with character, featuring a rugged leather case and strap with natural patina from over 80 years of history. Note that the right rear lens is broken, making these a candidate for restoration or display as-is. The left side may still be functional, but the optics could benefit from cleaning. Markings include “US Navy BuShips XXIX Mod 0” and the 1942 date, confirming their authenticity.

A rare find for WWII naval memorabilia collectors, these 6x30 binoculars are less common than 7x50 models, even in their current condition. Perfect for a restoration project or as a historical display piece from a critical era.
