Original World War II U.S. Navy Bureau of Ships Instruction Book for the Navy Model TBY-8 Ultra-Portable Very High Frequency Transmitting-Receiving Equipment. Manufactured by the Colonial Radio Corporation under U.S. Navy Contract NXsr 37799, dated September 29, 1943.

The TBY-8 was a compact backpack VHF transceiver developed for amphibious operations, beach landings, Marine Corps units, and ship-to-shore communications during World War II. This manual includes operation, maintenance, servicing information, wiring diagrams, parts data, and an original Errata Sheet No. 1 dated December 15, 1943.
