Authentic WWII-era U.S. Marine Corps machete featuring the correct wide, heavy steel blade with rounded tip and original wooden grip secured by brass pins. Blade retains visible factory stamp and shows honest service wear consistent with age and field use. Paired with original dark brown leather sheath. These machetes were issued to Marines primarily for jungle warfare, brush clearing, and utility tasks in the Pacific Theater. Village Blacksmith examples are increasingly scarce and highly sought after by USMC and WWII militarization collectors.
