WWII Western Electric CW-23049 Antenna Relay Unit for GF-11 Aircraft Radio Equipment

Original WWII U.S. Navy Bureau of Ships Antenna Relay Unit, Type CW-23049, manufactured by Western Electric under contract dated April 21, 1941. The data plate identifies it as a component of the GF-11 Aircraft Radio Equipment, with clearly marked TR (Transmitter), ANT (Antenna), and REC (Receiver) terminals.

This relay automatically switched the aircraft antenna between the transmitter and receiver, protecting sensitive receiver circuitry during radio transmission. Early Western Electric aviation radio components from the pre-war and WWII period are highly collectible and are increasingly difficult to find with intact data plates and original wrinkle finish.

Condition is very good original surplus with light storage wear. The original finish, data plate, and connector caps remain intact. Untested and offered as a historical military radio collectible.
